It is a longstanding tradition at Drive and Dish to publish our handwritten NCAA Tournament brackets on the morning of the first day of Tournament play.
This year, the Drive and Dish staff is still operating at its post-COVID-19 downsized and diminished capacity. We're down to one single staff member, so we're only publishing one bracket (as was the case in 2023).
Connecticut (UConn) is the overwhelming favorite to repeat as NCAA champion, and from everything we've seen, they appear to be better than everyone else in the tournament field. Of course, that doesn't guarantee that they'll win another championship, but it does make it hard to chose any other team in our bracket.
We picked UConn to win it all again, but it wouldn't be the least bit surprising to see someone else win.

BYU couldnt even get passed Duquane. Illini are gonna steamroll into the final 4.
