Kansas State Drops Kansas From Undefeated Ranks

Last night Kansas State upset previously undefeated #2 Kansas 84-75. It marked the first time in 25 years that Kansas State was able to hold off a visiting Kansas team on their home court.

In other news, Drive and Dish has been following the travails of Rick Majerus' rough first season as Saint Louis University's head basketball coach. Last night, Majerus' Saint Louis Billikens only managed 36 points in their 63-36 loss to Dayton.

We're beginning to wonder how long Majerus will stay at Saint Louis.

Kansas State is a program that has been dormant for many years. As soon as Bob Huggins arived, they recieved commitments from two guys that could star for any team in the country. Props to K-State.

K-State's Head Coach, Frank Martin, has gone overlooked throughout his first year. Sure, he inherited some of the best talent in the nation, but he has put his stamp on the program, as Andy Katz explains.

As for Mr.Majerus, I'd be surprised if he came back next year. He has made it public that he doesn't "need" to coach basketball anymore, that he does it more as a hobby than anything else. This is man that thinks too much for his own good.

Rick, you're a basketball coach who once lived in a hotel while manning the Utah post. You probably spent too much time devising a cure for HIV or on how to feed the hungry in Africa. Or, more likely, were bored while waiting for room service.

Rick Majerus is on of the more mercurial coaches in the profession. He's been known to shift views on issues and isn't as steadfast in his ways as he appears to be.

And please, for the love of god, put some underwear on the next time you address your team.
