Florida Misses NCAA Tournament, Donovan Kicks Players Out

After defending NCAA National Basketball Champion Florida lost eight of their final eleven games, and were left out of the NCAA Tournament for the first time in ten years, Coach Billy Donovan locked the Gators out of the basketball practice facility.

Florida (21-11) will host San Diego St. in the first round of the N.I.T. on Wednesday night.

If the Final Four were determined academically, it would be Western Kentucky (100 percent graduation success), Butler (92), Notre Dame (91) and Purdue (91).

Butler be on that list. Not them wacky tobaccy schools praised by you and them ESPN. Butler be on that list because the players are student athletes in the truest form. Unpaid team players who do the little unselfish things, play defense and do the work to win. No shaving points or accepting bribes from boosters.

Butler. 08.

We be cuttin down them nets!

Butler Bob,

Butler got hosed by the Tournament Selection Committee. Butler as a 7 seed is an absolute joke.

Drake (which got a 5 seed and has to play Western Kentucky -- and then, possibly, UConn) didn't fare much better.
