Davis Named AP Coach of the Year

Keno Davis, who led Drake to its first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1971, was named Coach of the Year by the AP today.

In his first year after taking the reins of the Drake program from his father, Dr. Tom Davis, the younger Davis turned the Missouri Valley's perennial doormat into the league's champion.

Drive and Dish extends congratulations to Keno Davis, to Drake University and to the Missouri Valley Conference.
