Indiana's Eric Gordon to Enter NBA Draft

Two days after Tom Crean's hiring as the new men's head basketball coach at Indiana, IU's star freshman shooting guard Eric Gordon is set to announce his plans to leave school and enter the NBA draft.

The Indianapolis Star's IU beat reporter, Terry Hutchens, has more here.

As Hutchens says, Gordon's decision to leave Indiana was a foregone conclusion:

"It wasn't a surprise. Not even close to it. From long before the day Eric Gordon first stepped on campus in Bloomington, Indiana fans were told to enjoy him while you can because he's only going to be there a very short time. 'One and done,' is everyone's favorite catch-phrase. With all of his potential (and the NBA clearly drafts on potential) there was no way Gordon was going to be in college more than one year. "
